Support Our Scholarships
As pressure on student funding increases so does the need for scholarship funding in each of our schools. There are two ways to support sixth form school or student scholarships:
- You can make a donation of any amount to the ArtsEd Fund. Sixty per cent of the fund is used to support scholarships each year and you choose which school to support.
- You can create a named scholarship in the name of an individual or organisation. A three-year student scholarship requires an investment of £25,000 while a two-year scholarship for the ArtsEd sixth form requires £28,000. (This is because students are eligible for loans of £6,000 per year while under-18s are not).
Create a Named Scholarship in Just Four Steps
Step One - Create a named scholarship in honour or memory of:
- a friend
- a community leader
- a graduating class
- a graduating student
- a loved one
- a staff member or former teacher
- an organisation
Step Two - Select the type of scholarship you wish to create
You can choose between a two-year sixth form scholarship or a three-year BA Scholarship in Acting or Musical Theatre. The sum can paid as one gift or over three years. Students in receipt of support are expected to update the relevant donor on their progress unless the donor chooses otherwise.
Step Three - Select your payment option
You can fund your newly created scholarship by cheque, debit or credit card.
Step Four - Finalise your scholarship agreement by contacting:
Legacy Giving - Remembering ArtsEd in your Will
We understand that decisions concerning your will are very personal and that the interests of your dependents will no doubt be your first priority. However, legacies have become increasingly important to the future of organisations such as ArtsEd and we hope you might consider supporting future generations of students by including us in your will.
As we are a registered charity, a gift in your will to ArtsEd (Charity No.311087) is exempt from inheritance tax. It is also strengthened by legislation introduced in 2012 which allows for a reduction in the inheritance tax (from 40% to 36%) to those who leave 10% or more of their net estate to charity.
Please contact the Director of External Relations to obtain more information or to discuss your will in confidence on 0208 987 6666 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
