Be concise. Focus on the most important details—highlight one or two roles and a unique skill or interest.
Use the third person. Refer to yourself by name or “he/she/they” rather than “I.”
Highlight key roles. Mention your standout roles in 2nd year projects, as this will best represent your acting range.
Add a personal touch. Include something about your skills or interests that makes you unique and memorable.
Example 1: “Alex has played Romeo in Romeo and Juliet and Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He enjoys playing guitar and is trained in stage combat.”
Example 2: “Chloe has taken on the roles of Juliet in Romeo and Juliet and Nora in A Doll’s House. She has a passion for physical theatre and speaks fluent French.”
Example 3: “Sam’s recent roles include Macbeth in Macbeth and George in Our Town. He is skilled in acrobatics and aims to pursue screen acting.”
