Head of Acting, School of Acting

The Arts Educational Schools London, School of Acting, is seeking to appoint from September 2017 a full-time HEAD OF ACTING to join this highly prestigious course at one of Britain’s leading drama schools. This post will be demanding and challenging and will be central to ensuring that the provision of superior training and support that the school is renowned for is maintained.

We are committed to changing the way that actors are trained for the modern industry. The person appointed must have a balance of professional and teaching skills in order to ensure that ArtsEd remains a leader in the world of professional actor training. They must also have relevant HE teaching experience in training professional actors.

The responsibilities of the post include providing strong, effective management, ensuring the curriculum and course structure matches the requirements of the degree, national qualification and professional accrediting bodies and participating in the student selection process.
