Vocational Training
ArtsEd’s BA (Hons) Acting and MA Acting are pure vocational courses. Our outstanding, inclusive and contemporary training produces graduates who are innovative and resilient performers. We prepare our students for both the physical and mental rigours of the performing arts industry through a combination of outstanding vocational training and focused pastoral care.
Our full in-house production team and West End standard theatre ensure that final year performance opportunities are second to none, whilst our long-established TV, Film & Audio department ensures that screen training for our BA students leads the sector.
Graduate Success
The success of this approach is demonstrated by our record of graduate success with over 90% of BA students securing representation prior to graduation and over three quarters making their professional debut within twelve months of graduating.
ArtsEd alumni have been central to the success of the UK’s creative economy for many years and, alongside performers, include directors, producers, choreographers and writers. Recent alumni include Lashana Lynch (No Time to Die, Matilda The Musical), Leo Woodall (White Lotus, One Day), Amara Okereke (Les Mis, Oklahoma, Spring Awakening, My Fair Lady) and Gabrielle Creevy (In My Skin, Three Women).
Our outstanding record of graduate success sees over three-quarters of our Acting graduates make their professional debuts within six months of graduating.
“The future of this country’s theatre tradition depends on centres of excellence such as ArtsEd.”
Andrew Lloyd Webber, President
