Pamela Jikiemi, Head of Film and TV for ArtsEd’s School of Acting says:

“I am delighted to be here at ArtsEd working amongst such talented students and industry experts all with a passion for performance – committed to delivering world-class performing arts training.

“It’s been a fantastic start with the filming of the 3rd Year BA (Hons) Acting original screenplays just completed and nearly ready to be shared with an invited audience in May.

“I am in the very fortunate and somewhat unique position of having extensive experience in all the key aspects of our industry. Above all I will be drawing on my acting practitioner pedagogy which will enable me to stay abreast of and include current industry knowledge in the curriculum, combining my acting, casting, post-production, digital broadcast and commercial experience alongside my diverse array of contacts to work with the team at ArtsEd.

“In 2019/20, ArtsEd celebrates 100 years of conservatoire actor training and we will be looking to the future to ensure that ArtsEd Acting graduates are not just industry-ready but also specialists who can enjoy a composite career with a multiplicity of transferable skills.”
