ArtsEd International Celebrates Golden Award for Culture & Arts in Dubai

ArtsEd International is proud to announce that Dubai’s Culture & Arts Authority has awarded their Director DR Andrew Lee with a long-term golden residence of ten years for his contribution to arts and culture.

This award is one of only 400 allocated annually in the country and recognises Andrew’s involvement with generating partnerships between ArtsEd International and many private schools within the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

ArtsEd Principal and CEO of ArtsEd International, Chris Hocking says:

“We are delighted that within a year of the launch of ArtsEd International that DR Andrew Lee has been recognized for his sterling contribution to culture and arts in Dubai, and in particular for increasing participation in the performing arts internationally.

“ArtsEd International and in the UK is committed to increasing access to world-class performing arts training and to attracting and educating some of the world’s most talented performing arts individuals. Our success in the UAE means that the performing arts sector in the UK can expect many more high-quality International students ready for further training either at ArtsEd in London or at many of our esteemed peers across the industry.”

DR Andrew Lee says:

“Having lived in the UAE for ten years the opportunity to be here for the next decade is especially exciting.

“It’s also thrilling to see so much energy being put into arts and culture in Dubai and we are already seeing the lives of many students transform through access to world class performing arts training.”
