Piano Lessons

We are delighted to be working in partnership with Dynamic Piano Lessons.

"I believe that you can start to learn the piano at any age, and that the most important factor is motivation. I tailor my lessons to the interests of my students, while at the same time encouraging them to develop their weaknesses as well as their strengths. For example, I have students who are mainly interested in learning to play the piano because they would like to accompany themselves when singing, or for composing their own songs. Others want to develop their jazz improvisational skills, or learn to play classical or popular music.
A typical lesson might include time spent looking at technique, music theory and harmony, rhythm and sight-reading skills. For those wishing to go through the ABRSM grade system, I am experienced in preparing students for these exams.
During the lesson I often recommend books and resources to work from for practicing at home. I am aware that many people feel daunted by the prospect of learning an instrument, particularly if they have little or no musical experience.
Sometimes in a lesson we might work on piano chords and songs that are in the charts – I can also provide sheet music for students wishing to learn specific songs. As a teacher I am sensitive to the individual needs of each student, and my lessons are appropriately challenging as well as enjoyable and rewarding."     Jonathan Harrison - Director of Dynamic Piano Lessons

Fees are extremely competitive:
The prices range between £35 - £50 depending on the session.
The team are fully insured and CRB checked.
