Acting for Stage & Screen 7-10

Does your child want to explore the world of acting?

Introducing participants to essential stage and screen techniques, this course builds skills and confidence, honing teamwork, encouraging creativity and building a strong foundation of skills for young aspiring performers.

Participants work as a company, with a professional actor/director expertly leading them in drama games, rehearsal exercises and technique based sessions. The skills developed will be put into practice with the creation of a screen duologue and short piece of work for the stage.

No previous experience is necessary, just an interest in drama and acting and a willingness to get stuck in!

Those with more experience will be encouraged to develop their skills to a higher level in a supportive and collaborative environment.
