Day School Admissions

Open Evenings & Visits

We encourage all prospective pupils to come and visit and this year we will offer the opportunity to do so as soon as we are able.

Our Day School Open Evening took place in September but don’t worry, it’s not too late to come and see us. Just click on the Come & Visit button to arrange a time to visit us in person.  Spending just an hour in our Chiswick home will quickly convey the energy, engagement and positivity that is at the heart of the ArtsEd experience.

**We are still accepting enquiries for Day School entry into Year 7 this academic year**

Admissions Overview

We audition everyone who applies to ArtsEd throughout the year. The majority of pupils join the school in either Year 7 or 12, although we also welcome pupils into Years 8 and 9. As we start the curriculum for some of our key GCSE courses in Year 9, we are unable to accept applications for Year 10.

Prospective pupils spend a day in the school with the other applicants, allowing them to get a taste of life here, as we get to know them. Our staff are very warm and welcoming, and make the day as enjoyable as possible. On the audition day, everyone takes part in the following:

  • ice-breaking sessions
  • vocational skills workshops
  • written tests in English and Maths
  • an individual audition
  • an interview with a senior member of staff (to which parents are invited)

References from the applicant’s current school and past school reports are also taken into consideration.
