Programme Bio

Tips for Writing a Short Actor Bio

Be concise. Focus on the most important details—highlight one or two roles and a unique skill or interest.

Use the third person. Refer to yourself by name or “he/she/they” rather than “I.”

Highlight key roles. Mention your standout roles in 2nd year projects, as this will best represent your acting range.

Add a personal touch. Include something about your skills or interests that makes you unique and memorable.

Example Structure for a Short Bio

  1. Key role(s): Mention one or two significant roles from your recent 2nd year projects.
  2. Personal detail: End with a unique skill, interest, or future goal.
