At the beginning of May 2020, our friend Graham Martin, a much loved and admired actor and ArtsEd alumnus passed away. He will be greatly missed.
To mark Graham’s passing and to celebrate his achievements as an outstanding performer, we have collaborated with ArtsEd to launch The Graham Martin Bursary. The bursary will provide a helping hand to young performers of exceptional talent during their years of study at ArtsEd. In addition to being awarded financial support, the bursary recipients will also be mentored by well-established theatre professionals, reflecting the generosity with which Graham shared his own expertise and experience for so many years.
Graham was greatly loved and adored by fans right across the UK. He will be sorely missed but his spirit will endure, not least through the impact this bursary will have on the lives of young professionals who will follow in his footsteps.
Please do consider making a donation in Graham’s memory, you can find the form below. Every gift will make a difference. Thank you.

Thanks to generous donations from Graham’s family, friends and fans, over £9,500 has been raised for the Graham Martin Bursary Fund. The incredible generosity of so many supporters has already begun to have an impact on gifted students at ArtsEd.
In 2020 Tavio Wright was awarded the first Graham Martin Bursary, providing vital support through his final year of training. Tavio graduated in 2021 and went straight into Back to the Future in the West End, continuing Graham’s legacy at ArtsEd and beyond.
