About Us

“The future of this country's theatre tradition depends on centres of excellence such as ArtsEd.” – Andrew Lloyd Webber, President

Over 100 Years of World Class Performing Arts Training

At ArtsEd, our talented and dedicated staff bring their experience and expertise for performance to pupils, sixth formers, undergraduates, and postgraduates, all within our vibrant west London home.

Making it in the performing arts takes determination, ambition, and talent. If you have these qualities, ArtsEd offers an exceptional experience and a strong start.

The Day School & Sixth Form provides a dynamic environment where young individuals grow in confidence and thrive academically. They are encouraged to make the most of every opportunity in acting, dance, and musical theatre. ArtsEd Extra extends this joy through our successful Saturday and holiday school programs.

Our Higher Education provision, recently awarded TEF Gold, offers diverse programs for Acting and Musical Theatre students, including foundation, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees. In the 2023 inspection, our undergraduate degree provision (DaDA) was rated outstanding in all areas by Ofsted.

Our outstanding teaching, pastoral care, and inclusive environment nurture talent and ensure that every individual feels valued and supported on their artistic journey. This holistic approach, coupled with our unique offering from school to degree-level education, attracts high-calibre students and staff, ensuring our graduates are industry-ready.

Inclusivity and diversity are at the heart of what we do. As a founding partner of the Diversity School Initiative and the first drama school to incorporate BSL into the curriculum, we champion representation in performing arts education.

For over 100 years, ArtsEd has inspired confidence and nurtured talent. Come and see what makes us special!
