Freaky Friday

Overview

Based on the novel Freaky Friday by Mary Rogers and the Disney films.

Music – Tom Kitt; Lyrics – Brian Yorkey; Book – Bridget Carpenter.

Teenager Ellie, frustrated by her mother Katherine’s nagging, wants just one day to be free to be herself.

With her own big day looming, wedding planner Katherine wishes that Ellie could be tidy and well-adjusted for a change.

But when a magic hourglass swaps their bodies, wearing each other’s shoes is the least of their problems. With a wedding to arrange, an exam to ace, an escaped 10 year old and a high school crush, mother and daughter do their best not to freak out and mess up each other’s lives.
