It’s the roarin’ 20s and former showgirls Lorelei Lee and Dorothy Shaw are setting sail for Paris for an exclusive nightclub gig. On the way they encounter an Olympic athletics team, English aristocrats, and a gaggle of other suitors. But they’re also being pursued by a private detective hired by the suspicious father of Lorelei’s fiancé, Gus, millionaire heir to a button empire. Dorothy is determined to marry for love, but Lorelei is convinced that Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend…
