Writer and Director, Lynette was appointed as the Artistic Director of the Bush Theatre in January 2019. Her directing credits include productions at the Donmar Warehouse, the Globe Theatre and the Gate Theatre, as well as the world premiere of This Is by Roy Williams, here at ArtsEd.
Sara’s directing credits include productions at the Old Vic, Trafalgar Studios and Soho Theatre. She is an Alumna of the Old Vic 12, an annual programme that nurtures and develops the next generation of leading theatre practitioners.
Richard has directed three 3rd Year productions at ArtsEd: Top Hat, Once on This Island and, most recently, Legally Blonde.
Lotte is Artistic Director of the Octagon Theatre in Bolton and Associate Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company. She was the Associate Director of Matilda in the West End, and directed the 3rd Year Musical Theatre show, Cabaret, here at ArtsEd.
Emma is Executive Producer at the Oxford Shakespeare Company. She is also Executive Producer of Lamplighter Drama & Lamplighter Theatre. Previously, Emma was Associate Producer for Only Connect, a creative criminal justice charity, and General Manager of the Urdang Academy.
Simon works regularly with the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 on shows including Coronation Street, Skins, Casualty and Holby City. He has shared his expertise with our 3rd Year Acting students, directing their original screenplay showreels.
Trevor Nunn is a theatre director who, as Artistic Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal National Theatre, was known for his innovative stagings of Shakespeare’s works. He is also known for broadening the scope of both organisations to include highly successful musical productions. He is Artistic Director of the Theatre Royal Haymarket.
Jennifer directed our School of Acting 3rd Year production, Pravda.
Timothy has been involved in many West End productions, including Les Misérables, Matilda, An American In Paris, Legally Blonde, Love Never Dies, Marguerite, Gone With The Wind, Chicago and Mary Poppins
Stuart is the Musical Director of Elf the Musical in the West End, Plymouth and Dublin. He also worked on We Will Rock You in the West End.
Dan was the Musical Director of Top Hat, both in the West End and on the UK Tour. Dan then went on to do the Musical Direction for 3rd Year Musical Theatre Show, Top Hat, here at ArtsEd.
Tamara was Assistant Musical Director for Me and My Girl at the Chichester Festival Theatre. She also did the Musical Direction for 3rd Year show, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, here at ArtsEd.
Peter is the Assistant Musical Director of Wicked in the West End. He also works on the Singing project at ArtsEd.
Chris is the Assistant Musical Director of the Book of Mormon in the West End.
Rob has worked on the Lion King and The Mikado in the West End. He is also the Song and Dance Musical Director at ArtsEd.
Laura was the Musical Director on our production of Newsies. Her other most recent projects include Matilda in the West End and The Boy in the Dress for the RSC.
Bob was the Musical Director of our 3rd Year production of Once on this Island, as well as the Musical Director for some of our 2nd Year projects.
Albey is the Resident Choreographer for Everybody’s Talking About Jamie in the West End. He also teaches 3rd Year dance repertoire at ArtsEd.
Darren was the Associate Choreographer for Kinky Boots in the West End. He also choreographed our 3rd Year show, Bullets Over Broadway.
Stuart was the Choreographer for An American in Paris and 42nd Street in the West End, and Singin’ in the Rain at Chalet Theatre Paris, as well as Sunset Boulevard at the English National Opera.
Jaye is a West End performer who is currently in Matilda the Musical in the West End. She was previously in Half a Sixpence at the Noel Coward Theatre. Jaye also teaches on our 2nd Year Dance project.
Adam is an ArtsEd Alumnus who was involved in the Follies at the National Theatre and Top Hat in the West End. He also works on our 2nd Year repertoire, Top Hat.
Chris won Best Choreographer in the Off West End Awards, 2018. He also worked on Jungle Book, UK Tour and Judy!, Arts Theatre. Chris works on our 2nd Year Dance project.
Ewan is an ArtsEd Alumnus who has worked on The Phantom of the Opera, Folketeateret, Oslo and The Wizard of Oz, Sheffield Crucible. Ewan works on our 1st Year Dance project.
Sam was involved in Fosse, World Tour UK, Europe and Japan and in Saturday Night Fever at the London Palladium. Sam works on our 2nd Year Song and Dance project.
Ashley was the Choreographer on Newsies. Most recently, he choreographed Nice Work If You Can Get It, here at ArtsEd. He is also a choreographer for the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.

Winner of the George Devine Award, the Olivier for Best Play and the Evening Standard Awards for most promising playwright. Roy has written for the National Theatre, Royal Court and The Bush. Roy wrote our 3rd Year Acting play, This Is (Summer 2018).
Brad has written plays for the Royal Court, RSC, National Theatre and Paines Plough. Brad wrote our 3rd Year Acting play, Reactor (Summer 2018).
"Rikki" Beadle-Blair MBE is a British actor, director, screenwriter, playwright, singer, designer, choreographer, dancer and songwriter. Rikki wrote our 3rd Year Acting plays Loving Charlie and Saving Rachel (Winter 2019).
Torben has written for the Edinburgh Lyceum, BAC and Orange Tree. He also adapted Get Carter for the theatre and wrote a new version of The Seagull for Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre. Torben wrote our 3rd Year play, It Never Happened (Summer 2019).
Anna was the Winner of the Bruntwood Prize. Her work has been performed at the Royal Court, Paines Plough, Royal Exchange and Frantic Assembly. Anna does Professional Practice workshops at ArtsEd.
Deborah Bruce is a writer and theatre director. Her plays include The House They Grew Up In (Minerva Theatre, Chichester, 2017); The Distance (Orange Tree Theatre and Sheffield Crucible, 2014 - finalist for the 2012-13 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize); Same (National Theatre Connections Festival 2014); and Godchild (Hampstead Theatre, 2013). She wrote our 3rd Year play, Sonny (Summer 2017 & 2019).
Mark is a London-based British arts journalist and theatre critic. Between April 2002 and December 2013, he was Chief Theatre Critic for the Sunday Express. He formerly wrote a daily blog for The Stage, where he was Associate Editor, as well as reviews and features until March 2019.
Simon is an English playwright. Having taught on the Young Writers' Programme at the Royal Court Theatre for many years, he is now an Artistic Associate at the Lyric Hammersmith.
Vivienne is a British playwright from Walthamstow. Her first play, Mogadishu, was critically acclaimed on its premiere at the Royal Exchange, Manchester and on its transference to the Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith, in 2011.
Lucy is a dyslexic actor, writer, filmmaker, trainer and transracial adoptee advocate.
Vicky has been in a variety of hit TV shows, including This is England, Broadchurch, Line of Duty and Svengali.
Harriet is a triple-threat star who has appeared in British sitcoms The Brittas Empire and Absolutely Fabulous, as well as West End musicals Cabaret, Wicked and Mamma Mia!
Lashana is an ArtsEd BA Acting Alumna who is currently starring as the new 007 in upcoming film, Bond 25.
Kevin has been in a range of hit TV shows, including Downton Abbey, Happy Valley and Doc Martin.
Dan is best known for Hamlet (2015), The Musketeers (2014) and The Crimson Field (2014).
Simon has performed for stage and screen. His stage work includes work at Paines Plough, Young Vic, Theatre Royal Bath and Birmingham Rep. His screen work includes The Bletchley Circle (2012), Years and Years (2019) and Silent Witness (1996).
Syrus is best known for his role in award-winning play, The Inheritance. He has also performed in Saint Joan at the Donmar Warehouse, Henry Fifth at Regents Park and Earthquakes in London with NT/Headlong.
Ruth has performed both on and off screen. Not only has she been in productions at the Royal Exchange, Manchester she has also been in the BBC’s Call the Midwife and The Pact.
