ArtsEd Trio: Screen, Stage and Musical Theatre (7-10)

During this fun packed three day course the students explore each of the three disciplines we offer here at ArtsEd: Screen Acting, Stage Acting and Musical Theatre:

Screen Acting: techniques and skills for performing on screen and and introduction to the technical aspects of film making.

Stage Acting: focusing on improvisation and character work.

Musical Theatre: students will work with a Musical Director and a Choreographer to learn a song-and-dance number from a popular West End musical.

This course is perfect for people who are looking to apply for Musical Theatre training at Drama School in the near future.

Our tutors are highly skilled and experienced, and they’re here for you! This week is an opportunity to learn from them in an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative environment, and boost your chances of success when you take on those all-important auditions.

Musical Theatre (7-10 yrs) Spring Term

Musical Theatre (7-10) is a 3-hour session where young people build their skills and confidence through lessons in Singing, Dance and Acting/Drama.

Participants learn routines, songs, and scenes from Musicals to develop their ‘triple threat’ potential. We introduce students to all three disciplines and focus on developing their core skills in communication, confidence and teamwork. Each class lasts 50 minutes with a 10 minute break in between.

Parent/Carer Information:
Students should wear comfortable clothing they can move around in and soft shoes or trainers. Please bring a bottle of water and a snack (strictly no nuts).

Please note: If you would like your child to be in a group with their friend please include their full name when booking. We cannot change groups once they have been formed.

This term is show term! We will require 100% attendance for this term so that we can put on an amazing show. Auditions may be required for parts.
