STEPS

STEPS at ArtsEd are beginner and advanced contemporary and commercial dance classes for adults, designed for those who want to challenge themselves and build confidence in a warm and inclusive environment.

In our state of the art studios, you will develop strength and technique tailored to all. STEPS classes are drop in for those wanting consistent regular training or a more flexible way to be expressive and active.

Whether you are coming back to dance or stepping into the studio for the first time STEPS is the place to learn, move and vibe!

ArtsEd x Arts North: Musical Theatre Summer Intensive

Experience a week in the life of a BA Musical Theatre student, with a mock audition workshop so you will be ready to give your best!

Students work with tutors from Arts North and ArtsEd, and experience classes and workshops in:

Singing (ensemble sessions)
Acting
Musical Theatre
A mock audition day – learn about audition etiquette and interview tips, all inside knowledge from industry professionals!

Spaces are limited and highly sought after, so please book quickly to avoid disappointment!

Further Information

Students will need to bring:

Ballet shoes
Jazz shoes
Clothes you can move freely in to be worn daily.

Students should prepare the following:

One monologue (either classical or contemporary). It should be no longer than 1.5 minutes.
One musical theatre song – you should prepare and perform a section lasting no longer than one minute. Please bring sheet music with you.

All your pieces should be learnt by heart before the course begins.
